Matobo National Park map
An interactive map of the park, coordinates for Maleme, World's View and the painted caves, and how to find your way around hills where one granite dome looks much like the next.
Short answer
ZimParks publishes no downloadable Matobo map; its park page has no map at all. What you can use is the interactive map below, the coordinates in the table, and an offline app such as OsmAnd or Organic Maps with the Zimbabwe region downloaded. Ask at the Maleme office for directions to the outlying camps.

Key coordinates
Save these before you go. Mobile coverage inside the park is patchy at best, and a set of waypoints in an offline app will get you out of trouble faster than anything else.

Finding your way
- The tar road from Bulawayo runs to Maleme Dam; almost everything visitors see is within a short drive of it.
- Download the Zimbabwe region in OsmAnd or Organic Maps before you leave Bulawayo; we have not verified mobile coverage away from Maleme.
- Nswatugi is on the loop road west of Maleme and can also be reached from the Kezi road.
- The fenced game section lies in the west; a high-clearance 4x4 is recommended there.
About the coordinates
The coordinates above come from OpenStreetMap, checked 24 September 2026, and mark the feature itself rather than its car park. ZimParks publishes no list of gates, so we do not name any; the barriers on the map are the ones OpenStreetMap records, some of them marked there as disused.
